  • I believe Land America is the same as LAMCO and they changed their system. Now you need to pay them to be included on the list for a REO listing. I was sent a letter. The cost was $499 and then a monthly charge. No thanks. Just for FYI.
  • After reading over the Ask the AM Q&A I would suspect that you are working for a BPO mill rather than an actual Asset Management company. Just a thought. You might want to ask the company you're working for and find out if they manage asset or they just assign BPO's.
  • Thank you for your comment. I contacted Land America about doing the REO listings. They sent me an REO application which requires four years of previous REO listing and selling experience complete with three references contact information for the asset managers. I don't have that experience or references, therefore I did not fill out the application. It seems that there are two divisions REO and BPO and the BPO's don't lead to listings unless you are also approved by the REO division.
