Are You Working For The Companies That Matter?

Since 2009, my team and I have been very fortunate to have worked with thousands of BPO & REO professionals all over this great nation. During these last 7 years that my software company has existed, I try to do a special blog posting once a year, where I give my top 10 favorite BPO mills or companies that I recommend that people sign up with to do BPO work.

Below you will find a list of my absolute favorite companies. Know that I am using my own industry experience as well as that of many of our software subscribers.

Nicole Ocean, Founder of BPOA

Here is my Top 10:

1. Altisource

2. Proteck

3. RRR

4. Clear Capital

5. eMortgage Logic

6. BPO Fulfillment

7. Servicelink

8. Specialized Asset Management

9. Solutionstar

10. SWBC (fka: Equi-Trax)

Bonus: Honorable mention goes to: Single Source Property Solutions

Top BPO Portals: Res.net and Equator

There you go! Please note, I choose the above companies because they all have a combination of being:

  • A stable company
  • Around and in business for years
  • Able to maintain a positive reputation in the industry overall
  • Having a high volume of BPO work across the nation
  • Smart enough to have adopted the NABPOP's BPOSG
  • Seen in the industry as a good company to work for.

To wrap this up, I can guarantee that if you are signed up, with more than one of the above companies (and don't have all your "BPO eggs" in just one basket, you are more likely to be successful in this niche business)

Not Signed Up With All of the Above Companies Yet?

  • I understand how you compiled this list.  I work for many of these companies.  I don't understand Protk being number 2.  Yes, they may have work and they may pay but they are now paying $5 less for BPOs than they did when I started working with them eight years ago. Also, they want a background check that costs $44. I think it is ridiculous to pay more for a background check so that I can receive their orders than they pay me for a BPO.

  • Violetta Polyakov, Broker is kinda on point I gave up on Altisource yes I was a preferred vendor changed brokers and ended up getting nothing so I just said forget it But i agree the BPO biz is on its death bed .. BUT the good news is values are getting back to 07 levels and any hiccup and we back to square one The problem is a lot of these companies are not really paying anything worth taking and are asking for more and more.. I noted SAM just dropped to $40

  • I concur with Nicole Ocean, I have BPO's daily from SWBC, RRR and most all of the others as well.  Some I like better than others but we have done over 1800 of them last year and hope to once again top that this year.  Yes, it is down a little from the 2400 - 2800 we used to do, but that too shall change.  Like everything, change is good for us all.  Keeps us on our toes!!

  • Thanks for the comments Violetta, but I think that you are sorely mistaken and if I may I'd like to enlighten and touch upon things that you wrote by me commenting further on each item.

    1. Equi-trax was bought out by SWBC, they still have orders and are a good company to work for.

    2. RRR is still viable, has work coming thru and such.

    3. Proteck is a HUGE BPO Mill and in the Top 5 nationwide. They are one that successful BPO agents work for.

    4. For Altisource they changed to an invite only last year so if you aren't getting any orders it's because you didn't make their 'preferred partner' program and were not invited to be one.

    5. ServiceLink is an AWESOME company to do BPO orders for, they are like Proteck in that they've been around forever and are in the TOP 5 best BPO companies to work for.

I of course am partial and feel like I've said my peace but please know that I mean offense with this reply! It's just that the BPO industry is like my second baby. (The first being my real 16 year old son, who is no longer a baby) I will always depend the BPO industry because I myself have been a successful BPO Agent.

I have personally seen and get to continue to witness as thousands of people that I am fortunate enough to be able to help with their BPO software needs, continue to thrive in this still very much alive and well part of real estate.

I hope this reply has been helpful to all!
  • Equi-Trax is no longer in business, RRR is not in business, Proteck I don't think has work any more, maybe not in business, Clear Capital has auto assign set up for each area, so new agents will not get any BPOs, Altisourse and Servicelink are either out of business or have no BPOs.  From my experience, none of these companies have work and BPO is a dinosaur that got extinct last year.

  • You're very welcome all! I'm glad the list is helpful :)
  • Thank you for the update and quick go to list!

  • Thanks for sharing, I do Clear Capital and Service Link, they are great to work with

  • Thanks for the list. The only one I have ever done work for is Clear Capital and I've never had a problem with them.
