"Ron, of course its a game with the banks. They don't want an OREO on their books. I've seen some banks that won't take a property back for 18 months plus or deed in lieu. The occupants finally decided to do a short sale which is what the bank is…"
"That's a relief that the occupant left peacefully and with cooperation!"
"Yep, the banks are in business to make money not lose it, so it only makes sense they would take advantage ass much as possible. I guess there is a real sense of ethics in business here too when you look at this way."
"Jesse, soon it may be the USS. United States of Socialism. I guess people out there don't understand what capitalism and freedom means. Sometimes businesses go under! It should be survival of the fittest, but no, everyone wants a bailout. No one…"
"I'm so excited, I just got linked up with Titanium and got my first assignment! I don't mind doing short sales and I understand that working them doesn't always pan out, but I have been able to help some people. That is the whole premise behind…"
"I just don't get why this is necessarily a good thing to do other than give AM's a break over the holiday. All it is doing is delaying the inevitable and making our job harder once we get our hands on the property. Just my two cents."
"James are you familiar with Temecula, CA? It seems like a lot of people move back and forth from Medford to Temecula. I'd love any referrals you have and vice versa. Thanks!!"
"Cool, thanks for the info!!"
Hey, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the recent idea of forestalling foreclosures for 90 days. What is your opinion of that? Why do you think the banks are thinking that is a good idea? Is it so that they can regroup to do the loan mods like they…
"Thanks for the update on this. I've signed up with them and am looking foward to get started working!"
"Chris, here locally there are a couple of brokers who are developing business alliances with BofA. Of course we've been hearing that they were going to be getting all of CW's REO's for a long time. I'm not sure if or when that is going to happen,…"
"I'm curious to those who are signed up with Titanium. How do you get paid for your time?? Is it worth your time in exchange for the amount you are being paid? Would you be better off doing bpos? Or prospecting?"
"That is crazy are they going to prosecute the previous occupants?"
"Jesse, it didn't work out for me to go since it was my son's eighth grade promotion the next day and my nephew's graduation from high school. Definitely keep me posted on whether or not you think the training conference was a payoff or not. Some…"

Like you, I am new here and hopefully like me, you see the potential that this social network has to offer and the great advantages we have by being in on the ground floor.
Of course, the only way there will be a benefit is if we collectively get active and stay active in the group.
I am going through right now and asking everyone here from California, to join my friend list - I hope you'll do the same.
Also, if you have REO experience, then please write a short blog on a topic of interest to you, that you feel someone else will benefit from. This will not only provide you with good "Google Juice" it will help all of us here.. I just posted my first blog here about BPO's. I have another blog at HemetRealEstateBlog.com where I have nearly 400 articles published on all different real estate topics (and some personal one too - after all we are in the people business).
Hope to see you around the REOPRO site,

This site is dedicated to the Realtors who work with Lenders, Banks and Asset Managers in assisting them with the liquidation of their real estate portfolio holdings.
We are a Network of Professionals spread across the country and have come together online to network and provide support through our accumulated knowledge and experience. This support could be anything from providing information on ways to obtain industry recognized designations, to the contact information of the Asset Managers who can make or break us. The power of our network will be determined by those who participate openly and freely.
I really would like this to be a place where we as Listing Agents can share information without constraint with one another in the pursuit to help each other in the advancement of our shared profession.
Feel free to customize your “my page”, start your blog, add events, post photos and share videos. I believe with your help, this network can have a positive impact on the lives and professional development of all who are members.
If you have any other suggestion, feel free to send them my way, I will truly consider them, the door is always open and welcome to REOPRO.
