  • Moritorium has been in place since November 1st, REO has been very slow due to this reason, Flood gates are about to open wide come April 1, unless they extend again, right now it is wait and see, but be ready.
Are you Default School certified, if not get certified.

  • Elle, I am sorry to hear this! Reapply, make sure you put me as a reference and complete the application with REO references. Do not leave out anything. If you are going to REOMAC, look up Art Acosta, introduce yourself, he is our NRBA Vice President from CA and on the REOMAC Board, ask Art to help you, tell him you applied months ago, currently not showing as an applicant and that you just re-applied.

  • Ellen, the fee is $168 per month and less than a month after I was approved I received 17 Ocwen listings in 1 day. After I revised all of my credentials and made my vendors aware that I was now an NRBA Member, the work increased and I have been very busy since. I cant guarantee this will work now because back in 2005 when I joined, REO was still frowned upon, but now everyone is trying to get in and where the Asset Managers use to have only 4-5 agents to chose from now they have 4-5 thousand. Main thing is to get all the BPO business you can, do a great job, sign up with tons of REO companies and aquire all the education and certification you can in REO. I

  • Hi Ellen, Go to the NRBA website and check to make sure they have your application on file. When you put in your email it will pop up and say app in process if they have it. A lot of apps were lost due to website malfunction last year. Call me if you need help. 404-312-0801.

  • Thanks for the support Ellen, I appreciate it.

As for the badge, just go to the main page and click on the red writting under the badge that says, "Add More Badges". Find the badge you want and then copy the corresponding HTML code to your HTML editor on your site and, you should be good. Of course, if your site doesn't have a HTML editor then you will need to contact your administrator, obviously it's impossible for me to know the details of everyone sites.

    Thanks again and good luck.

P.S. As for advice, it's all in my blogs. i suggest you read through the blog archive because a lot of good informatino is there. In fact, we did a survey about 3-4 months ago and asked, what part of REOPro was the most helpful and over 90% of our membership said the blog archives were extremely helpful.
