Mainstreet Valuations BPO Fees

Hello, Can anyone tell me more about Mainstreet Valuations. I signed up with them a few months ago, and recently received a couple of BPO orders. The problem is that both orders were more than 25 miles from my office and they were only paying $20 per order. Is this thier standard BPO fee? I can't do BPO's for $20 that is an insult. Needless to say I turned them down.

Is anyone doing $20 dollar BPO's for Mainstreet? I have done property condition reports for other companies for $20 but they don't require comps. and it takes about 5 minutes to complete the form. But to do an entire BPO for $20 dollars seems unreasonable. Am I missing something?

I just received a few orders. Will I have to fight to get paid? The orders are exterior and $45.00

I have done BPO's for them in the past and I wont again. They send out requests for $45 or less and you have to fight to get paid. Twice they have tried not to pay me for work that was completed.

John, you may want to contact Mainstreet and asked to be removed from the site inspection offering. I have done a few of these. The sites were close by and the form took 5 - 7 minutes. I was in the car for 15 - 20 minutes each.

Pulling out for gas, I came out to about $35 bucks per hour. That not bad in my book. Make sure to know your distnaces before acceptance.

I agree with you, it is an insult. I get request all the time asking to pay $20....(I don't accept them either) these BPO companies will keep doing it as long as the agents accept them. Since they don't offer listings, I can't imagine why any agent would accept this? I might think differently if listings came with it.

One needs to show some work and may get more later. Yes, the inspection does stay on the system a bit longer but not much longer. you get a tankful of gas.

they want you to do driveby inspections for $20, not bpo's. Bpo's from main street pay $45 for exteriors & $75 for interiors. i do not know of any agents who are accepting the $20 jobs, but someone out there must be hungry! It could be worse for Titanium only offers you $8 for driveby inspections!
