Yes we are looking for multifamily rental properties, preferably over 3 units, but have not found anything yet that meets our requirements. There do not seem to be a lot of fourplexes or 5+ units right now at good prices in decent areas. I am sure we will find some properties this year and next though. How about you? Are you buying anything right now?

He has written several short sale / reo articles, published a lot of blogs on the topic and is well versed in default / distressed properties. I highly recommend him.
Now, as for my opinion, which is not a legal opinion and should not be considered one, the scenario as you outlined above is questionable at best. It sounds to me like Mortgage Fraud and I personally would run from that full speed again, that is just my opinion.
