  • I have been doing BPO's and REO listing for the past seven years. It not only keeps me up on what the listing inventory for our MLS it gives me contacts with different Asset Managers and different systems of doing BPO's.
I started out as a Real Estate Broker in IL in 1996. Then we moved to NE Indiana and I tried selling real estate there but since the town was small and I did not know my way around that was short lived. Although, I did manage to land a job in the township Assessor's office where I learned alot about recording and tracing property so it wasn't a total loss. Two years later we moved again this time to Burlington, Iowa where we have been for the last seven years. I obtained my Iowa Broker's license and am hoping not to move again anytime soon.

From our moves I have managed to learn techniques to help others with their relocations. I have had multiple course in other states laws. I have worked with an assortment of buyers and sellers and found that Real Estate is definitely the profession for me. Every day I feel as if I learn something new which keeps life from getting boring. I worked for 2 franchise company and one non-franchise and currently find myself most satisfied working in my own company out of my home with 3 computers going and at times 3 house cats playing on top my desk. I have worked with some very good REO Companies and been assisted by many good Realtor friends and that is what it takes when you find yourself living in three different states over the course of eleven
    years.
  • That's fine. Hope all is getting better.
