RES.NET

I received an email from RES.NET about a week ago, asking if I'd be interested in advertising  on their site.  I believe the subject was "Maximizing Your Exposure to Asset Managers."    I haven't seen this subject come up on REOPRO.  Did anyone receive a similar email.  If so, your thoughts please.

  • Congratulation. Thank you for input. Anybody else would like to share experience...good or bad...or none. I'm a res.net member, it is just basic and I'm not sure if I should pay for the zip codes or not. I have a big kings and queen in my area, I'm afraid I might just waste the money.
    • Soon after posing the original question to REOPRO, I signed up for the RES.NET banner ads and paid $950 per quarter. I have had great success. Thus far I received 3 listings and am averaging about 5 BPO's a week. One listing settled yesterday.

  • I work entensively with RES.net and they've been great. I have tried the zip code banner and so far I've picked up 2 REO outsourcers. I was assigned a BPO on a Friday for $100 at 4pm asking for it to be completed by Monday. I completed it and on Wednesday I was assigned the listing. Another AM So far successful. I've paid $400 for 1 quarter, received a $100 BPO and 2 listings. Not too bad.
    • YOu rock........
  • Gary, in July you have mentioned the banner ads you will try. Any experience by now?
  • I have received several emails from them since they started the program. The banner ads get you in front of the AM when they are selecting an agent for a certain zip code. There is a place on the banner ad for them to click on to select you and assign you the asset. Theoretically, it would make the AM's job easier to just click on the banner ad than to search for an agent from a long list of agents. I am going to give it a try. I purchased one zip code for three months and will see if it gets any results. Buying more than one zip codes can get pretty pricey at $300-$500 per quarter per zip but if it gets you one listing and a relationship, it would be worth it in my opinion. The zip code I purchased has had 535 REO in the last six months with a pretty good average sales price so it is an active REO market. How many of those went through res.net is anyone's guess. I'll report my results after a couple months of experience with them.
