  • Hi Tere, Please repost as a forum...

just received a call from Linda at Titanium saying they would be taking over one of my Short Sales. So I guess this means Equator is out? This is a Freddie Mac loan in default for almost a year. I have been fighting with B of A for a year with three different offers being submitted and each time B of A is ready the buyer has dropped out. This last one I submitted the offer in Dec. 09.

Anyone else hear of this happening?

  • Some newer neighborhoods have beens swept by the current distress in the economy and practically mayority of houses in some neighborhoods built from 2003 and up have been foreclosed or sold as short sales. There is a dance of investors and first time buyers trying to get a house for an unbeleivable price.
  • RE market is in an up swing here in SW Riverside county, So Cal. Short sales are being priced well below market value which has created a bidding war with buyers. First time buyers and investors are still the main streamers. A few SFR are looking to step up to bigger homes and rent their homes. Great deals can be had as we are seeing pricing at 2000-02 prices. Banks are tighter giving loans, FHA is the main lender. What's happening in other parts of the country?
