As you probably heard, RES.NET is releasing their new Accelerated Management Platform (AMP) on November 1, 2009. During the 5 Star convention, the price is $250. Would like to hear from other REO agents if they are going to go forward with this product.

Thomas... I still have not chosen a platform at this time. The advice on this board has been tremendous in showing me what to look for. I should have something decidied by the end of this month. Thanks for checking.
Hello Anthony. I saw this today on RES.net. A lot of money is being spent on company advertisements for their products because they know some agents are getting restless and anxious in getting business. AMP may be a good managment system but I suggest checking out other platforms as well. Many agents forget that their own MLS has free databases built right in for your use. I am part of IMRMLS in Southern CAli and they have a lot to manage your listings without any extra charge. Check with your MLS board. Free isn't that bad these days.
I think if you look at the AMP program you'll see a section for short sales as well as some others. I know BOA is going to be using REOTrans for short sales, so I presume that Res.net is getting set for that as well. I went forward.

Mark, it sounds like you work for eBrokerhouse, Because i've seen the eBrokerhouse demo and it does not even come close to TazaREO. I went with Taza because it fit my business better. i guess it really comes down to whatever fits you best. cheaper does not mean better, i would probably go with ebrokerhouse if i was just starting out, but with my portfolio i needed a system a little more dynamic.
Thanks Mark for sharing that information. I too was considering the AMP, then the special pricing deadline passed, 09/27/09, before I knew it, but I was still considering it because of the big question, will their agents receive preference if they are using that platform.
I also use eBrokerHouse house and was not wanting to change. I actually just changed to eBrokerHouse and did not want to change yet again as I am not even all switched over now!! I do love their product though and you can not beat their price.

Did you ever end up choosing a system?
