As a REO Agent does any one have the RES.NET pro plus account.. I am very hesitant to get it.. I paid for the upgrade about 3 yrs ago and did not get anything..
However most of the companies I call require RES.NET Pro plus...
I have been doing bpo/reo for 8 yrs.. well I should say bpo.. I have only received 1 reo.. Can any one give me some advice on how to get through this door. I have paid for all kinds of training. Still nothing.. Is RES.NET worth the money?
Thanks Michelle

It always boggles my mind why agents want to pay for BPO business or crummy listings. I have been doing BPO's for 20+ years and have yet to pay 1.00 for anything. I would not take a listing at 1 or 2%, we get 7% here in Upstate New York, if I should take a foreclosure listing the commission is 6% we always try for 7%, and I DO NOT pay for utilities or any other services required for the property. I much prefer working with buyers....
Prior to getting my license, I worked as an assistant for an REO broker who has had lots of activity through Res.net. Even now with the slow-down in REO listings, he's managing 8 properties through the platform.
After deciding to carry my license, I signed up thinking I'd have the same results. Sadly, I have not. I did get 2 listings through the portal, so it's more than paid for itself, but the company I got the listings from only pay 2%... and there's a 25% referral fee... so it's more like 1.5%. Better than nothing and it still pays the bills.
As late night TV often tells you: Results may vary.
If you've had no luck in the past, then I wouldn't pay for it again. Especially with the slow down in REO properties and every agent and their brother now chasing what's left.
