Thoughts on joining LAMCO Network

I signed up last year and never received a BPO or email let alone a listing. They are now emailing me, I let my membership lapse, that I can become a lifetime member for $400. Why would I???

I know there is a few threads out there on LAMCO Network. Most is ok.
What I would like to know has anyone signed up for the LIFETIME fee and been put to the top of the advertising list for them and then recieved bpo's/listings right away.

I thought that maybe I should join LAMCO since they are national, but the cost is steep for something that has no assets in my area. Anyone else join?
