  • I have a listing form them now- weird thing is tehy won't pay you for the buyer side if you bring the buyer, they were shocked when I told them I would not try to sell to my clients.

    • I double sided my only Lamco listing last year.  New policy?

  • This discussion is great.  I was looking to sign up with LAMCO but based on all the negative comments it doesn't appear to be worth the investment.  Plus, the sales rep could not provide me with any type of stats.

    • Save your money, Yolonda.

  • Gina,

Stay away from the LAMCO Network!!! They will do nothing but give you "Lip Services" and empty promises.

I too was bombarded with phone calls and made the mistake of buying a Lifetime Membership as a Restoration / General Contractor in the Denver Metro area.

I was promptly sent three work orders and property inspection requests, I thought "Great" this will be a great source of business!!   All three requests took place in Oct & Nov of 2011. The work was completed within 1-2 days of the requests, and I still have yet to be paid.

I couldn't get a response regarding payment from LAMCO for almost four months until I filed intent to lien documents with the county clerk, and then received several calls and emails, the latest containing a settlement offer at 50cents on the dollar. I rejected the offer and turned the file(s) over to a Denver collection agency.

The Liens, Collections, On-Line Postings and Warnings to other contractors will (hopefully) put the LAMCO Network on the radar as being a Very Un-Ethical Business!!!

    Please don't waste your money!!!

  • They are waste of money. Go to the casino and enjoy your money instead of getting ripped off.

  • Thanks everyone for your comments. They have been calling me for a lifetime membership and I after some research, didn't like what I found. They promise that they have a new website coming out, I told it would be out in Feb. but now the rep keeps saying "next month". I will not waste my money and try for other options.

  • CORRECTION for my previous post:  www.lamconetwork.com does still have 'listings' on its website.  no improvements however.  One property I found in my area is NOT listed - the listing expired in 2010, not even going to sheriff sale or delinquent on taxes.

I think that Lamco and Lenders etc. have an identity problem.  They sell their services on both sites including the one with agent's BPO assignments, and they market agents and vendors on the one with 'listings'.  We don't really know what we're paying them for except they say they market us to asset companies.

  • Clue, whenever you have an Asset company making cold calls and begging you to sign up with their company. This is a HUGE red flag..A friend of mine got caught and wasted $599 for membership.. RUN!

  • Don't do it.  I paid $600.00 after being HAMMER by calls.  I have not gotten anything from them and it has been a year and a month (signed up 01/06/2011).  Don't do it.
