After a successful meeting with AM, he promised listings. It's been 4 weeks and still nothing. How often would it be appropriate to bug him about it, without being to annoying, but at the same time not to lose a great contact?

  • If it was me I would just send him/her a card thanking them for taking the time to meet with you. Then I would add something simple stating you were just following up on the promise of listings he made. Just be careful not to come off to desperate. The AM could of just been blowing smoke at you just to be polite. Like Carlos said in another post, some AM's don't have the power to assign listings to whoever they want as they have to use a list of Preferred Agents. You might want to ask that AM if that's the case with him and if so how could you go about becoming one of those Preferred Agents. Good luck. We just added 2 more agents on my team so now we're going to start the process of finding new accounts. We're going to have a meeting a create an entire game plan strictly dedicated to getting new accounts. Our main problem is we're surrounded by several Kings/Queens in my area with some having 400+ listings and on the board of NRBA. It's not easy but our hard work has secured us one major account that one King has been trying to get for a while and now we're the preferred broker for them in that area as long as we keep the good work up. So it's not impossible..
  • Vitaliy,

Check back once a month on a Tue, Wed or Thur.. Don't bug them on month end.
