First Preston AM for BofA, Chase & Countywide

I recently got approved and signed up with First Preston. The have informed me that they are expecting REO inventory in CA from Fannie. Has anyone else heard this or worked in CA with First Preston? I was told by one of the broker coordinators that alot of the current inventory is Freddice Mac. This leads me to belive there is another wave/rush of REO's coming to the market soon.

  • Hi Jonathan,

I just started the registration process at the encouragement of jp morgan/chase. It is rather involved and I am glad to hear you are getting at least some results. A good friend of mine is at the other end of the process, having just been told he is now registered in the system. He also told me that they were looking for California agents several months ago and now need agents in other states because they have received more than enough applications from California agents. My deepest hope is that he is mistaken.
    Best of luck to you.
    • Can you give me the registration process for jp morgan?
  • I just signed up with First Preston. I see your post in June. Has this happend yet?
    • I don't know for sure, you may want to call and ask them direct. Did you actually send in your broker/agent packet or did you sign up via there website. If they took your broker packet which is a book of various info you have to provide ie E & O insurance, Proof of Liability Insurance etc.

      Good luck.
      • I just signed up on the website. Do you have the email address to send the broker packet?
      • Hi Jonathan! I just signed up with Frist Preston. Do I just mail them a packet or do they send me one to fill out? My brother currently represents Countrywide, Wells Fargo, Indymac, Old Republic and Fremont Investment & Loans. Countrywide has slowed down tremendously and we could not find where to sign up with B&A. He heard First Preston is taking everything over. Have you received any listings? Best! Tammy
        • Tammy send me a personal email or call me. My email is jonburg@code3realty.com
916 296-3645. I have gotten a few listings from First Preston, however it has only been their fannie properties. I have spoken to their B of A assest manager and they assured me when they get inventory in my area they will give me a shot at. Currenlty there is only one guy in my area that I know of that is doing B of A listings for FP and his inventory has gone way down from them as well. Much he has sold, and I have't seen any new stuff come on yet. I think everyone is slow right now in the way of inventory, it's the calm before the storm, which will probably hit sometime in 2009. Is your brother in CA? My experience with First Preston was I signed up on their site, once they start taking on new agents in my coverage area, I got an email with a full application attached, that I had to complete and send back to them.
  • Would you email me info on being approved with First Preston

      • Jonathan,

I got my first listing with them! We are still in the pre-list phase but I'm so excited that all the time and $$ spent signing on might just be worth it. I was invited to the round-up dinner in Dallas but didn't make the conference. I'm going to REOMAC, do you think they will have a representive there? I'd love to meet David Day in person!
