GOT A STRANGE CALL FROM LANDSAFE TODAY

The person named Katrina said that there was going to be a new way to accept BPO orders.  That is about all that I could understand.  I asked her to send me an email about it since I was having trouble making out all of her words and she said that an email would be going out tomorrow.  I thought she said she was Katrina from Lansing!  When I asked her to repeat what company she was calling from, she then said Bank of America so I figured out it was Landsafe.

Anyway, I thought it was an odd call since I get very few orders from them.  BPO companies usually announce things like this in an email.  I think they recently announced a fee INCREASE to $62 which I though was SUPER!   They currently pay $55 with InspectionPort charging us $5 per order to use.

The incoming phone number does connect to Landsafe.  Turns out she left a message on my home phone last night and today as well.  Wow - 3 calls!

Anyone know what this is about?

  • Oh - and they are calling "Auto-advertise".  Odd since they are not advertising the orders at all.  They are essentially hiding them from agents doing anything but sitting in front of their computers all day.  And there will be a captcha so no auto-accepting.

  • I reached someone today. The email is supposed to go out tomorrow. Landsafe will still be assigning some orders as usual. They are also going to post orders for the taking. They will not be sending email notices that orders are available. They will post for viewing by Tier 1 and 2 agents first - I think the person said for 2 hours. Then if not taken they will post for Tier 3 and 4. You will never know when the orders are posted.

I've been trying to get them to tell me how to raise my Tier for months. I only get an order a week and they keep everything on file. I can be on time and they will reject it the next day for things like your photos do not match your description (that's a matter of opinion), why didn't you use these comps (because they aren't comps) , what is the listing history of every single comp you used? What? There is no where on these forms for some of this. Even when I go to great lengths to explain how I came up with a value, including that I outlined repairs but did not suggest they be done, they reject it because I actually supplied as is and as repaired values. What?

I have read through their instructions over and over again, yet they still come up with some reason to reject it. I usually have my explanations accepted right away, yet now the order is late and the rejection and late mark still count against me.

I have never been concerned about 'ratings'. I do my best always. But I used to do a lot of Landsafe work before they started using InspectionPort with no complaints. The new form took a learning curve but now I don't know what to think.
