I recently had a short sale going on with BOA then BOA sells the asset to Nation Star. Fellow realtors take note-this short sale turned into a disaster. Nation Star actually asked me to do the short sale and they went on to tell me they use Equator. The first thing that came to mind was great they use Equator-I use it everyday for BOA. Nation Star gives me a full blown approval. The buyer being from out of state starts the moving process. I inform Nation Star about 3 weeks before sheriff sale to cancel-saying I have the approval letter. I then called Nation Star every week to cancel and they led me to believe they were on it. Fellow realtors they never had any intensions of cancelling-by the way I live in non redemption state. Be very careful with Nation Star.
