  • I signed up, paid the fees, and never heard from them again!!!
  • Hi Allison,
I was contacted also by REO Direct Partners to sign up. The pitch was that if I signed up they would look for smaller banks and credit unions in my area to solicit business. They guaranteed at least one listing per year, but after researching the company I found no listings in Colorado. I'm a bit skeptical
  • Everyone,
    Thank you for you responses.
  • Alison, save your money, they don't have anything in Texas!
  • Alison,

How did this Co. check out? Matt
  • Hello Alison - I have had good results with REO Direct Partners. I am local, meaning I am in IL as they have an office 15 minutes from my house. They let me check out zip codes I was interested in and that led me to sign up. I am a big believer in pay to play - but thats something you will have to make a decision on. I guess to answer your original question - the company is there, I was impressed with their customer service and support. Overall - as others have posted, research and find what your feel comfortable with. I have made a goal to associate myself with a few local companies to "cover more ground". I usually ask to see what is available in my area and ask questions about their future plans. I find it a good idea to call back and talk to a few reps and compare notes. If the company is on track, they will usually have the same goals, answers for you, if not then not! - I hope this helps you!
  • double or nothing great policy, I would do the same.
  • Hi Alison, some info is on AO. I still think if these companies want our money, they should take it out of the first closed commission- I'd even pay them double or nothing. Money back guarantee's don't work for me, don't have time to chase my money.
  • Hello Alison. What I usually to check out a company is several things. One, do a basic internet search but stay away from their own press releases. Two, search the domain name on "go daddy:" or any other site like this and see how long they've had the domain name.Three, do a property search on their website to see how many listings they have in your area. And four, contact several of the agents on their websites and ask for feedback. This company says they are national, but they didn't come up anywhere near my zipcode.
  • Beware of pay for business companies. Many new companies out there every day. I have signed up for a few myself. A total of zero listings or BPOs have come. I think the company who offers a listing guarantee or better yet a listing prior to making payment will make tons of money. Have never heard of REO direct partners.
