OCWEN / Altisource BPO's

Hello all!

Just wondering if there's anyone out there that can assist me with an issue. I signed up with OCWEN over 1.5 years ago for BPO's and REO's. I've called several times to check on the status of my account and each time I receive the same info. That my account looks great and there's nothing needed.

My issue is that in this time frame, I have only received 1 BPO order. Very unusual and odd considering other agents in my office and competing offices receive numerous orders each day.

Therefore, does anyone have a contact there that I may call to see what's going on?

I would greatly appreciate it!

Joe

  • They reward you based on the time it takes you to turn in your BPO.  You won't get anywhere talking to them.
  • I have done tons of BPOs and CMAs for OCWEN but they are just keeping you in that circle. You will not get any REO assignments as they have their own brokerage setup in every state. I gave up on them.
  • i had been signed up with Ocwen for over 3 years and not one single order.  I used to get notification while on the computer, however when i log in to accept orders, nothing is there.  That changed when i purchased a program that will accept available orders.  Since then i have completed about 3 bpos a week.
  • Joe, Ocwen is a great company to work with. I have been doing REO's for them since 2002. Altisource is also a Real Estate company that has the main contract with Ocwen. Ocwen only kept a couple of REO Broker in each States.BPO's from Ocwen are great and they pay very fast. They don't pay much but with Ocwen the more BPO's you complete for them they remember you when it comes time for REO properties. If you are in the system just be patience maybe they don't have enough properties in your area. Just keep cheking in with them.

  • If I were you I would consider yourself lucky they don't ask you to do their pain in the butt BPO's for $40 minus their $1 payment processing fee.
  • Thanks Shawn! But what about for BPO orders?
  • For the most part, Ocwen / Altisource is listing properties "directly" with one agent for an entire state and is outsourcing  customer service to India.  However, they still use other agents to complete BPO's for them.  Your chances of getting an REO assignment may be pretty slim.
