Hi! Just wanted everyone to know that asset managers are looking here, and I just finished the initial bpo for a national vendor who, not finding an agent in my area, plucked me off this site. Way to go! This site is getting notice in its first year, gotta love it!
I also have gotten a good listing from this site and they have offered me another, the first house had been by the first previous agent not monitored and he also neglected to tell the asset manage about the lawn needing mantenance which resulted in a $2240 cost from the City cutting the grass. If you are doing REOs do NOT take on more than you can chew also do checks on properties not listed yet but you have been asked to give an occupancy status. Most often than not the manage is relying in you to be her eyes on the asset. I visit this occupied properties once a week if convenient or bi-weekly if out of the way. I don't make any money doing this or hiring necessary services to the asset, like grass cutting but most managers really appreciate it.

Good for you Victoria. I am happy for you. This site is awesome. I am waiting for more listings. Maybe mine will be around the corner. I rather get the work from a recommendation oppose to paying for a list. I have done that been there and same result - nada! If others here have had luck paying for a list for REO listing, please share. Everyone have a wonderful week!!!!
I would like to expand the office and get a virtual assistant..maybe one more agent..just hoping the volume will support it. It seems the bpos are light, then a flurry...listings have not followed yet except from Ocwen, which I turned down. I do list for local banks..but would like to see a portion of the volume that a couple of our local agents get!
i do them for four nationals and a couple locals. the asset manager who called just said that she had seen my name here, and had no one in this area...was i interested! now lets see if I get paid!
Hey, Victoria, I meant to ask....how long have you been doing BPOs in your area? And do you do them for several companies or just a few? This site is awesome....I really like all the interaction here better than any other site I'm on.
