As the REO business starts shrinking, we can expect more and more of these companies to go out of business. Those of you still working for outsourced REO companies....be warned.

I am on their list but have not received anything nor have some other agents I know. This is the company out of Denver, correct?
I received the letter last week and read it with great sadness. I worked with IAS from its humble beginnings, through the glory days, and into its decline. There has been a great deal of bad press for them over the past couple of years, which is most likely warranted as it appears there are many brokers and appraisers that will get the short end of the stick (probably me included) and I wish everyone the best in recovering what they are owed. However there was a time when IAS was a stellar company with great integrity. For many years I rarely waited for over 30 days for payment. Their initial executive management team, asset managers, and supporting staff included some of the best talent in the industry, who I will miss working with. I see it as good bye to an old friend that fell off the track and wish all the employees that I got to know over the years the best in their future endeavors.
Luckily they didn't owe me anything didn't fair so well with Evaluations Solutions in Fl.

Well, that's unfortunate but, I have gotten an email form someone who said they were owed around $3,000.00 and I am sure other out there are likely owed much more.It really is a shame.
