At REO EXPO there were 3 companies promoting automation and every body was excited talking about this topic.
I would like to create a rating system for this companies: 5- good customer service and tech support, delivers good results, and it is easy to use. 4 - good customer service and support, there are problem with the scripts, easy to use. 3 - poor customer service and tech support, program works, but only 50%, it is difficult to use. 2- Can't never get an answer from the company, program has too may bugs and crashes a lot, you need to be a tech savvy to use it. 1. Do not waste your money with this gimmick.
These are the companies that I know, if you know others please add them to the list, do not make rude comments on the companies or their employees, let keep it clean and professional, but true, please keep comments to the minimum, this poll is not to get brownie points or to bash anyone, just to help fellow agents to make an educated decision if they think about purchasing any of these softwares, I don't think any of the programs is perfect.
BPO Automation Group ( ) Never use it, last year couldn't get through to customer service to purchase it, it is a larger investment upfront, but maybe cheaper in the long run.
BPO 5000 (2) lacks customer service and over half of the scripts don't work properly, input wrong information in bpo form.
Realty Pilot (2) RETS are complicated to get, no live tech support, takes a while to get an answer and you have to watch too many webminars to use it.
BPO Buddy (4) much improved customer service and tech support, some bugs with the scripts, easy to use but it can be pricey at $99 month.
Trackmyforeclosure ( ) I just purchase it price seems good, I have appointment with tech support to do MLS set up tomorrow and I will change my rating after I get a chance to use it. low price $39 a month.
Some of the them call themselves consultants, platforms, software, programs, control center, etc. but they all use Imicros and Realty Pilot RETS, but it is semantics, after all they all track bpos and do automatic filling, and maybe another gimmick here and there, but us agents care more about the automation part than anything else, we want to free our time and same our fingers from typing so much.
What do you think???

Good thing there are always two sides to a story!
Susan Pohlman made a very negative comment concerning my company and she forgot to mention that when she reached out to us recently, her support has long been expired in 2012 on the legacy software that she purchased, thus her tech issue was not covered or something that we could work on because she is a legacy software customer and not a current subscriber.
We take great care of all of our customers, both the ones that purchased over the years and those that have grown and benefitted from our improved software and in the end, I went out of my way and beyond company policy by helping her as a one-time courtesy by freeing up her key so she could "finish a few more BPO's she had to do before getting out of the business!"
I feel bad that she was misinformed about how long her support of our product lasted and even more so that she never upgraded to our Enhanced AutoFill software. When trying to set the record straight with her over the phone and explaining things to Susan was not professional to deal with and was hostile. This makes me very thankful to be able to focus my time and energy on more positive dealings with current subscribers.
To those who don't have automation software yet or are using a competitor, keep in mind we have thousands of satisfied customers all over U.S. and I know it isn't possible to keep everyone happy, all the time, but we do our best.
I purchased BPO Automation when they first began. My sister and I both invested a large sum of money for our "keys." This is the worst company to deal with regarding customer service-wise. I have had no need for anything until recently when Windows 11 loaded. It froze my BPO Automation. I decided I would deinstall everything and go to the site to download the softward and get my activation key. Wrong. They had purged my account. Seems 2 1/2 years ago they switched over to some new system and unless you spend $79 a month they won't help you and lock you out of your account - that you already paid for. Choose anyone else but these guys!!!
Jose,
I'm with you, I've been using TrackMyForeclosures since April last year. I am 100% happy with their customer service. As for scripts i think every company out there has scripts that break, the quesiton is how the company handles the broken script. TrackMyForeclosures has a great turn time, they understand we realtors are under deadlines and dont wait days to look at them. Normally i have a new script within 12 hours of emailing them my open order.
And price...WOW!! Finally a company that isn't charging me large up front fee or a large monthly fee.
I rate them a 4.5, I dont know that anyone would ever get a 5 but they are the real deal. Before I got this software I was struggling to complete 4-5 bpo's a day. Now i can handle 12+ a day no problem.
To give you an example how it made my life easier, a LSI bpo start to submission before the software took me 35 minutes(exterior of course), now i can do a LSI(exterior) start to submission 15-20 minutes.
As of today I think they have 69 companies that key with 350+ macros.
Best of luck but anyone still doing BPO's by hand you are missing it.

I also like to keep my pictures for my listings there and been able to access them from anywhere. The autofill is not 100% maybe 80% and that is something they even told me from day one, but I have learn to customize my own macros and that allows me to do closer to 90 or 95% depending on the form.
