Fanne Mae direct notification questions

I was wondering how any of you Fannie Mae direct agents were notified you were accepted. I received and email from Fannie Mae Sap sourcing today. It was a notication that I had been invited to an E-sourcing event. I logged onto there website and was instructed and accepted a long two page disclosure form. Now on the website under status it states under phase (open for response) and a due date of 12/19/2011. Just wondering if I should be excited. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

  • So how do we find out if we have been accepted?

  • 1 1/2 years- Long process.

  • Kent that's Great!. Once you completed the application how long did it take for you to get that email?
  • Fannie Mae: Your New Vendor ID and Important Next Steps‏-

We have established a new Fannie Mae Vendor ID for your company, and at  this point in the set-up process, you must establish access to the Asset Management Network (AMN).  Detailed instructions are below - please  follow them carefully. In the meantime, we will continue processing your paperwork and finalize your account after you've established AMN  access.

IMPORTANT!  You MUST establish AMN access for your new Fannie Mae Vendor ID to be finalized.

  • It was Fannie. When they send a listing the email comes with the headline....BPO Order, Case Pxxxxxx

  • Well I hope it is not just a review but a real opportunity for me to become a Fannie Mae approved broker so that I can get listings. George what company did you do the BPO for?
  • We just became fannie direct this summer and we didn't get any notification before our first listing. We just got an email for a BPO and it turns out that's how they assign their listings.

We also got that SAP email this week and it concerned me because we just got approved and I thought something was wrong and didn't want to lose the 7 listings we have gotten thus far. So I called and they said they sent that out to everybody because they were doing an internal review. So everbody that has applied and is already approved should have gotten that email. Hope that helps

  • Great to hear congrats! I having been waiting a very long time on this one. I'm hopeful that all goes well. I'm curious how many of these do they send out at a time. They said I would hear in 3-6 weeks from submiting the extra information they requested. If any of you Fannie Mae direct brokers read this give us some insight.

  • I just received the same email in my area and I also have a post on this site asking the Fannie Mae direct agents is this the process they went through as well.  So far no one has responded.  Either there are little to no direct Fannie Mae agents using this site or they have not gotten around to replying to me.
