Bankers REO

Has anyone heard of this company? They have called me twice - they have a yearly fee of $349 and guarantee you listings, money back if you do not get. They say there is no referral fee!!

  • OMG.......you Guys just saved me 375.....The funny thing was he was interviewing me and as i was on the phone with him ilooked the company up.

And Boom here is it is Blog post that they are scam. I stared itreviewing him and my question was. How many REO they have and who they deal with. He said to hold on. he came back on and he said that he could not tell that untill i join. I told him its funny that they cant tell that i untill pay.

I asked why is there such much bad stuff about them on this BLOG. He said that this BLOG is not real.

    I hung up the phone.

    Thank you guys.

  • Ok to fallow up, I did recive BPO like most post sugest; got paid etc. I fallow up with all these service providers after I complete BPO's to see the status of the property etc. To my disipointment I have not recived another nor have been contacted to list the subject property, of course that what I am looking for; not BPO 50-150 per sheet my time is better spent prospecting!

I know we all competeing aginst each other for listings but it would be nice for Agents /Brokers that have real BPO/REO biz to make some comments!

  • Boy I wish I had become a member of REO Pro and read this blog BEFORE paying these guys! Yes; I admit Banker REO called my wife and partner and pulled the hard sale and she paid the $349.00 Then; to make matters much worse, me in my infinite wisdom, then signed their agreement and e-mailed it back to them. Yes this is hard for me to admit on a public forum!:) The first BPO they assigned us was a wrong address; then they provided another wrong address.. HUGE Red Flag!!, That's about when I googled them and found this site. I canceled the $349.00 charge and my bank reversed the charge. However; Banker REO sent a dispute with a copy of my e-mail and my signature on their contract and now my bank has put the burden of prof back on me. This company is a major scam and they breached my one page contract when they provided false addresses of homeowners that were not even in default! I will get my money back, but I am wondering still how they get away with brazen fraud against our profession?? My reason for this post is 1 to see if anyone has experience getting a refund and the quickest way to go about it? (they are not returning my calls or e-mails) and 2 to warn any brokers/agents out there that if they get a call form Banker REO to know that they are complete frauds and to hold on to your wallets!

  • Just got contacted by them also. When I told the guy "I don't Pay to Play" he got loud and started arguing with me and tried to embarass me. I just said I wouldn't and he finally hung up. If they were legit they wouldn't ask for money upfront. I have seen more fraud in the last 5 years in this business and there are no safeguards for us. I expect more thru next year when it gets really tough out there.
  • Just got a call from a Ryan Green from Bankers REO, same speech..$345.00 needed to use "their" platform. Promised a listing if I completed the BPO. After reading everyone's comments I passed. Thanks for posting!
  • Banker REO at www.bankerreo.com - phone number is 847-454-7892, has been calling me to pay them $349 and that they guarantee me an REO Listing in a few days. I refused to pay, because in April 2011, ABS REO called me and I paid them $350 and the next day they gave me a $50 BPO and that was the last I heard from them. Everyone, please be careful, these are scams and they have done their homework on how to scam you, so be aware.

  •   I got the call Friday, of course I signed up for a lifetime technology fee of379.00,  I see from other posts that someare offerd an annual for 349.00.... I have signed up for these in the past and received
1-2 BPO's orders and received payment but yet to have a listing as a result of
    my efforts or fees paid.

I am told that an AM has a listingbut needs the BPO done first, they also say the AM will contact
me directly, that’s a new pitch! I will see how it goes and let you all know if
its the typical 50.00 BPO and I never hear from them again or if I get contact
    w/ the Am for listings.

  • Sounds like another scam to me.I always love to ask these stupid companies for 3 local brokers in my area that I could chat with about their success with the scam company.

Answer is always the same "....due to confidentiality agreements, I am not allowed to disclose that information." I call bullS(*#&

  • I got the call too, and just told him that I was no longer paying for the "possibility" of a listing.... I'm too busy with real listings! Honestly, the guy got a little snide with me when I said no. Red flag!
  • There is a long running discussion on them in the forums now. They are the same campany Mindy talks about.
