  • Hi Katrina;

    I got your message about Default School and I can assure you, it isn't a scam. I myself am a member and in fact, it's the only way a new agent can take on Wells Fargo as a client.

    Sorry, you had a bad experience with the lady on the phone however, because of their agreement with Wells Fargo, they don't release much information out other than what you see online. Bear in mind, it doesn't work to the companies advantage to start telling people how many agents they have in a specific zip code. That would only discourage new agents and eventually stagnate the pool of options available to them in any particular area.

    Either way, if you’re uncomfortable with them, I understand, don’t use them. I am not an advocate for any particular designation or certification unless it is at least industry recognized and accepted by the REO Industry. Obviously Default School’s is hence, the relationship they have with Wells Fargo, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that I have personally benefited from.
