Um, I really don't have any additional advice other than to take the shot gun approach and sign up with everyone you can.
Secondly, you need to attend a conference or networking event because a lot of networking takes place there and can make a huge difference in your business.
Lastly, I would suggest you go through the blog and forum archives and do some keyword searches. I would be surprised if no one has already blogged or created a forum on this topic.
