  • This week for me is none, and last week it was that I could hardly keep up. I do not know what is going on, but this is my only income.

    • I am wondering what is going on.  I took the webinar for the new site and then told I could not access it.  I also for the past 10 days been trying to clear up what ever problem is.  No results

  • Does anyone know how to get a new  vendor account with Altisource? Whenever I'm calling them, they say we don't accept new agents in your area, but I hear from others that they do accept new agents....

  • I too considered Tony Rosales and REO Warriors, but...

$300 to buy into his program? and, there is just NO WAY even Superman could complete even 5 bpo's in one day, just not possible. Maybe if you buy one of those autofill solutions, but it would take a bunch of bpo's to pay for just it! Let alone the time to drive around to that many properties.

I have been doing bpo's for 15+ years, I'm pretty good at them. And I continue to hear gurus saying they can do 5000 a month and make thousands. GARBAGE!

Especially now, where many forms are 6-7 pages+ and you have to download both tax and MLS cards into report, etc.
I've tried to do a report in under 2 hours, but if I've happen to attain that lofty ambition once, I've never been able to  do it consistently!

Also, as you've seen throughout the forums, many companies are finding it difficult to pay on time, if at all!

    • At one time I averaged between 18 and 24 orders per day. I had 2 assistance.
    • Hi Fulton,

Have you ever heard the old saying, "If you don't have assistants, you are one!" ?  It sounds like you need to leverage yourself bud.  Leverage is the key to successfully completing ANYTHING at a high volume.  BPO, REO, Retail, Short Sales, Beanie Baby Sales, ANYTHING.... You are only 1 person, and can only be in 1 place...

You need to have at least 1-2 BPO/REO Photo Drivers/Inspectors.  You need to have a program (systems are also leverage) that helps you obtain/accept your orders.  You need to have a system to seamlessly upload the data (photos, tax, MLS, etc) to a mutual place for all parties to have access to and upload/download to/from (think: Dropbox).  You need to have someone helping with data entry, depending on volume, this may be your largest portion of the business.  And then you need to have YOU - to hold each of these parts accountable, and to follow up on the income/receivables/expenses.

You can do it.. I did!

      • I couldn't have said it any better myself, Ira. I wouldn't say that I could do 5000 a month, but a few hundred per month is most certainly obtainable.  Leverage and a good staff is key to volume. However, we all make time for what we feel is important to our business.  With that said, if one desires a way to make it work, one will find a way to make it work.

I wish you all a great holiday and fruitful New Year!!

  • I have been wondering....If its legal and how safe it is?

  • I see many people still use data entry personal? Has anyone tried Auto fill? any successful story? I kinda do not like auto accepter because I have to see how much they pay me and if it is still in my service area.

    • Hugo, I've been using TrackMyForeclosures to handle the keying portion.  However, I have my personel executing it.  I believe it is very similar to AutoFill but is a little more cost effective and they have great support.  The system is very easy to use and best of all it helps me track orders due, paid, unpaid, manage photographers and keyers. There is no way I'd be able to do the volume without it. I can find comparables in no time. However, there is always a few that create a challenge.  Using TMF, I can key a report in about 10-15 minutes.  Not all reports require adjustments, but it may take me an additional 5 minutes to include them.  A review of a report keyed does not take me long as I personally think I have great staff and they are familiar with what they are doing. So I'd say 3-5 minutes per review. At the end of the day it takes about 30-35 minutes per report now that I have a system.  Prior, I'd waste roughly an hour each.  Feel free to call me if you have any questions.
