Every six months or so I will review Foreclosure Radar for any small banks that have homes about to foreclose. I then search the web to find out 1. Do they even exist any more. 2. If they do not, who has taken over the loan. 3. Who handles their assets, or do they handle their own. My question is, is there an accurate way to discover which asset management companies handle which lenders? Or am I going about this in the wrong manner. I am ready to look at local credit unions next. Has anyone had success doing this? My listings so far have all come from USRes/ RESNET.
