  • Thank you - this sounds like a great deal!
  • Hello Jessie How do I Join FORCE? and do I have to still register for General Admission for Five Star or will that fee be waived? Just need Clarification. Thanks
  • I recently registered for the Five Star Conference and also for the REO classes. I was wondering what the Force was and the benefits. I have been the listing and selling agent for more than 39 bank owned properties. I had a gun pulled on me when doing an occupancy check in Stockton. It of course scared me and I pulled back for awhile doing the foreclosures. I also was getting the leads from Xome.com. I am a member of RES.net and Equator.com that later is where I got a discount for the conference. I would like to get back with the asset managers and again begin being one of their agents of choice. I have attended several of the Five Star Conferences. I did not connect with assets managers but did with other agents that have been a great source for referrals over the years. Becoming a member of the Force I am sure will help me stay in the know but will it help reestablish getting to know the asset managers that work my area?
    • Getting a personal connection with an asset manager in your specific area with assets they will trust you with is the holy grail. The only way that has ever happened for me is through networking events, be it Five Star, on-line training, etc.... it all boils down to knowing someone who is in the know. In my humble opinion, the best way to get in the loop is to attend the events asset managers attend, hence networking events like Five Star, the Force Events, etc... Now, that's not a guarantee because the reality is, no one knows every asset manager in every market and is up to date on their assets. My point is, networking is a cost of business when it comes to REO and it's a gamble each time. Sometimes it pays and other times it doesn't but, if you do enough of it, it will either balance out or you will learn very quickly to bow out and reassess.
