FannieMae Business ????

I signed up with Fannie Mae for REO business, was assigned a logon and password for their system, but now after 4 months, have not received any business from them. Does anyone have any ideas of what I need to do for FannieMae business? I currently work with other REO companies and it seems like in this area (central valley, California) the only REO's out there for sale are Fannie and Freddie (and Freddie is already at my office with someone else). Any assistance or ideas from you would be greatly appreciated.. If you don't want to post, you can email me at sold@jackiehillen.com.

  • Jackie,
I am in the same position as you! I was so excited to receive the log-in and password, only to find out (After sending an email to the vendor desk) that you have to be approved aslo by NPDC: Here is the email response I received from them:

Thank you for contacting the Vendor Desk. Completing the registration process through SAP is not an approval process. It notifies Fannie Mae that you are interested in becoming a vendor. If our agents should need new vendors in your area and wish to actually bring you on as a Fannie Mae vendor, then they will contact you directly to start that process.

    Thank you,

    Vendor Management

It sounds like it is a multi layered process. If you want to email me personally at janetfrederick1@comcast.net
  • I'm in the same boat but I've worked on several Fannie assets through outsourcers. I would love, love, love to start getting work from them. Does will work for food work?
  • Just go to fannie mae.com.
  • After I applied, my broker was given a number.. but to be honest, I looked so many places for the sign up, that I don't remember the actual location.. I was searching on Google and just ran across it - after a few hours of searching...
