ABSREO

Happy New Year Everyone! Well, I wish I would had checked the blogs before filling out my invited application for the ABSREO site... looks like when I got to the end of my application submitting licenses, etc.. they wanted 299.00!! I had received an email letting me know that they had properties in my area. I have worked with other asset management companies and never had to pay. I have not received a call yet from the representative for the company however plan on letting them know you send me an asset and I will pay... ya think? After 23 years in the business, my have times changed. Good Luck to you all and Have a Successful Year 2011!

  Thank you Julio for your insight on all of this. I do REO'S with some great asset managers, not a lot but enough to pay my bills, but I agree there are so many companies out there that are taking a referral or a listing fee. The one company mentioned was charging an upfront 299.00 with promise of having you on their preferred list. However, checking the blogs should many agents have not received anything.. I have already emailed the company to let them know that I will pay the 299.00 after I receive the referral.. Happy Selling and have a Great Year!
