I thought I would share this info with those who may be interested in signing up.

The article will also tell you where to go to obtain your application to partner with LPS AMS as a short sale agent. You will receive an application as well as an email similar to the one below. Application is short and to the point. Good luck!

Dear Agent,

Thank you for your interest in working with Lender Processing Services Asset Management Solutions (LPSAMS) as a Short Sale (SS) Agent. Please see the attached Application and reply directly to this email (LPS-ShortSaleAgent@lpsvcs.com) once completed.  Once your application is reviewed, you will be added to our Short Sale Agent Waiting List and called upon at a future date if/when your services are needed. Please understand that no further communication or acknowledgement will be sent upon receiving your application due to the volume of responses.

**Please do not send any additional attachments, fill in & return the Short Sale Agent Application only. **

Thank you,

LPS - Asset Management Solutions, Inc.

  • I am completing the application right now. How did you interpret the application ? the 1st section they ask for "Agent Partner" Then there are 3 separate sections for listing agent.

I am just signing myself up.. For single agents... did you just complete the Agent Partner box and leave the remainder blank ?

    Thanks for any input...

  • Thanks Ruben, I've applied and hopefully will be approved. We've closed about 20 SS in 2010 and have some knowledge with that.

    Thanks for sharing this info.

    Good luck.
