  • i got a call from absolute REO. they want $295.00. I google them and they are bad news....stay away
  • First off, in the relaunch of our Ask the AM and Ask the REO Atty coming up the first Monday in October, this question will be answered directly from our AM's point of view. So, I don't want to let too much out the bag but, I will share with you my opinion.

First off, the vast majority of these "pay sites" are nothing more than money grabs. In my opinion, a good agents shouldn't have to pay up front to get the necessary education, required OMS, or whatever else they mandate to do business with them. Someone said once....

"If you (the corporation) aren't confident enough in your leads to take payment at closing, why would I (the agent) ever be confident enough to pay up front?"

I really wish I could remember the person who said that but, I assure you, that quote stands behind everything I do here at REOPro and, (hint, hint) everything that will be happening in the next couple of months.

Now, I really do understand, sometimes money is tight and to launch a new program or get something started it takes a bit of cash....I get it, trust me however, these programs that are 199.99 + are just over priced in my humble, honest opinion. As a Realtor myself, anything below $50.00....thats fine but, when you get over $100.00, then I start asking myself, who is this company making money off of, the Realtor or the Closing? I hope to goodness it's the closing because making money off the Realtors is a loosing business model!

Cesar.....I can't say much now but, I assure you, this industry is going to change, come hell or high water and, when it does, REOPro will be the one in the lead! We may start off small, we may even be the "dark horse" but, when I have all the puzzle pieces in place, cover your eyes because a lot of people will be left in the dust!
  • Good question Cesar, I just got an invite from: www.absreo.com Apparently so did everyone else based on their 'page' here. The cost is $295 but has anyone gotten a listing after paying?
