Ok, first off….I am not going to share this agents information with you. If he wants to speak up…he can. In other words, don’t ask….lol. I just got an email from Christian Broadwell with Realty Pilot alerting me to the fact that one of our members got a BPO and in return the REO. Now, so that we are clear, this isn’t a “REOPro” assignment so much it was a bank who has been using the Realty Pilot for some time and noticed their coverage is growing…ie, REOPro members and happened to release a BPO to that Zip Code where this member snatched it up, completed it and in return that bank asked him if he wanted the REO. My point is, Realty Pilot is working for our members and yes, it wasn’t a “REOPro” assignment however, the way the system is set up, you as a member could get any assignment for any of the partner banks that Realty Pilot is already working with. Yes, REOPro will be assigning BPOs, REOs and Short Sales soon but, in the meantime, you could potentially get assignments from other cooperating servicers, asset management companies and lender who have their own Asset Management divisions. Don’t forget, on December 16, Realty Pilot will be launching their “Activity Counter” so you as agents can also see where assignments are and how much business is going out per zip code. This is a revolutionary concept in this industry and really puts more power in the decisions making process back into the agents hand. Good luck guys and if you’re not signed up yet, I highly, strongly encourage you to do so. I fully expect REOPro ourselves will be sending out business soon. I know soon is such an ambiguous term but, that is all I can say now without spilling too many beans. Just know, I am completely confident this is going to happen and it’s just a matter of hammering down technology, which Realty Pilot is working very hard at doing.

  • 8 Bpo's for 1 listing isn't bad, IMO. I've been doing BPO after BPO, paid ones too, yet not an abundant amount of listings.
  • Hey Robert,

How many OMS's are out there......hundreds....thousands....maybe more. The realty, our industry is chaning and you might want to read over a recent blog post I had that gives my perspective. http://reopro.ning.com/profiles/blogs/bitter-experienced-reo-agent, I think this blog paints a very clear picture as to where i want to go.

Just curious....where did you do 8 free BPOs......?? Could that have been Kondaur by any chance?

One of the biggest changes our industry has seen, is the level of competition for listings has exploded exponentially. This increased level of compet…
  • Jesse; How many of these paralell entities like REO Pilot are out there? How many times will I have to shell out $295 to do free BPO's? Love your blog and your agent interaction here! So far, I've received one property assignment after doing 8 free BPO's. Could definitely use more assignments/listings.

  • Hi Jesse, I have also signed up and am awaiting activity. :-D
  • Great!
Thanks Jesse, you are my personal coach, the first thing I do in the morning is to read your comments.
    I wish you success..
  • Jesse, this really and truly seems like a great tool! I am a bit surprised however that such a large market like Chicago hasn't seen any activity as of yet. I've been checking on a regular basis. I signed up for the trial, added zip codes, made some connections with some existing client companies, but haven't seen any activity yet. I know you've given contact info for support questions, but can you give it to us again? I just want to make sure I've done everything right in the setup process.

    Thanks in advance

  • Jesse thanks for creating the avenue for us all to benefit in a way so share our ideas in the real estate market trends of the day. Many agents don’t have a clue how easy this makes it for us who have fallen onto your website REOpro.

Second, I believe from what I seen with Realty pilot it’s going to be a great marriage for some of us to benefit and profit. My questions is this is market driven where I service (South bay of L.A.) there has been really a drop in the bucket foreclosures compare to let’s say Riverside inland empire! As you can see the benefits for the agents in Riverside County over those in Los Angeles County.

From tracking the group on REOpro agents with Titanium Solutions many are getting 10 assignments a week where if I got 10 in one month would double the best month with Titanium Solutions. Plus with Realty Pilot giving us a month free while they are not completely on line with many asset companies is not really beneficial for most of us.

I see your excitement yet we all have been taken even if it’s only $29.95 or more in the past by some company promising to bring us agent’s clients and or REO listings. And how many asset companies hired agents for BPO’s and never paid for the services. Is Realty Pilot going to regulate the processing time for asset companies to make payments? What makes it worth the gamble to try this program? Plus, how many agents/brokerages will be per zip code?

I have sign up and see what it could be yet I can also see many of the same problems by just signing up and prospecting asset managers.

Thanks again for bring it to our attention.
  • Thanks for the opportunity for this REO Jesse. I received a lot REO based off of a BPO I completed from Realtypilot the first day I signed up. I have paid into many REO "opportunities" and few have panned out, so this was a pleasant surprise. I hope to turn it into even more now that my foot is in the door. Remember to sign into as many assent manager "doors" as you can on Realtypilot so they see your availability for the zip codes. Jesse should make sure the first one to sign into all of them wins something.....good luck all.
