    @ Cary B Sternberg this was verified by an Asset Manager at Indy. This was a system error on their behalf. They have sent out letters of apology. But it was from Indy....

    I got that one too..........maybe they can't keep track of all they're programs at this point.

    Yes they sent this to me about 5 times in one day. Have you contacted them or have they contacted you yet?

    THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM. OneWest Bank, the successor to IndyMac does NOT use Indymac in any of it's correspondence. And if the above letter is quoted accurately, you can detect the grammatical error that indicates that english is a second language for the sender. I would recommend that you trash this letter.

    I received it twice. No appology yet. I am on the waiting list, but not approved yet.

    I received it and a apology email shortly afterward stating it was sent in error.

    Both. My application is still pending, but my officemate has Indymac listings and she received the emails too.

    Hey are you guys approved Indy Mac brokers or on the waiting list? I am trying to see if they only sent this to approved brokers or waiting brokers or heck both!
