Just got my first listing with NRT REOexpert and have now been told there is an outstanding water bill I need to pay and get reimburstment later.   If you are currently working with them please respond and let me know if they pay on time and anything I should be aware of.  The other REO's I've received have always been paid by bank not the agent.  Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

  • You need to be signed up with LPS desktop. It all goed through them and takes about 30 days. you need to have all utilitys  set up in you name in 24 hrs fo assignment. This is the golden key so take advanatge of it and do everything by the book. I protect my NRT listings with my life. You dont know how lucky you jsut got. This one listing could be worth 100s if you do a good job. I have done $20k remodels for NRT through LPS no problems. The should have emailed you all the detailed instructions read through them and follow exact.
  • Susan, Yes they have been slow just like everything else out there but they continue to give us every year a few here and there. I believe we have 2 or 3 now with them directly.

  • Thanks Alex. The assignment came directly from them and I was instructed to bill through LPS. Have you evear received assignments directly from them? After your first, are they pretty consistant giving you properties.  Thank you again
  • I have worked with them for several years. They always pay on time just make sure to submitted for reimbursement with the correct entity. For instance some of the assignments i get from them are through res.net and invoices and payments need to be processed on res.net and if i get them directly from them then you need to submit on the LPS site. But the thing to remember is that they do pay and they are a great company to work for.

  • Thank you Crystal and Robin for quick response.  I have a water bill over $1000 wanted to make sure there wouldn't be problems collecting.

  • You have to pay all utilities.  Then you submit in LPS. They pay you back.

  • I've been working with them for several months. I've never had an issue with reimbursements.
