Last year I was doing tones of BPOs and I decided to use help with automation to maximize my time and to have a life, I tried 3 different companies, This year I can see that bpos are very hot, just last week I turned down over 100 and I still managed to do complete 35 which is 10 more than what I really want to do weekly.
At REO EXPO there were 3 companies promoting automation and every body was excited talking about this topic.
I would like to create a rating system for this companies: 5- good customer service and tech support, delivers good results, and it is easy to use. 4 - good customer service and support, there are problem with the scripts, easy to use. 3 - poor customer service and tech support, program works, but only 50%, it is difficult to use. 2- Can't never get an answer from the company, program has too may bugs and crashes a lot, you need to be a tech savvy to use it. 1. Do not waste your money with this gimmick.
These are the companies that I know, if you know others please add them to the list, do not make rude comments on the companies or their employees, let keep it clean and professional, but true, please keep comments to the minimum, this poll is not to get brownie points or to bash anyone, just to help fellow agents to make an educated decision if they think about purchasing any of these softwares, I don't think any of the programs is perfect.

BPO Automation Group ( ) Never use it, last year couldn't get through to customer service to purchase it, it is a larger investment upfront, but maybe cheaper in the long run.

BPO 5000 (2) lacks customer service and over half of the scripts don't work properly, input wrong information in bpo form.

Realty Pilot (2) RETS are complicated to get, no live tech support, takes a while to get an answer and you have to watch too many webminars to use it.

BPO Buddy (4) much improved customer service and tech support, some bugs with the scripts, easy to use but it can be pricey at $99 month.

Trackmyforeclosure ( ) I just purchase it price seems good, I have appointment with tech support to do MLS set up tomorrow and I will change my rating after I get a chance to use it. low price $39 a month.

Some of the them call themselves consultants, platforms, software, programs, control center, etc. but they all use Imicros and Realty Pilot RETS, but it is semantics, after all they all track bpos and do automatic filling, and maybe another gimmick here and there, but us agents care more about the automation part than anything else, we want to free our time and same our fingers from typing so much.

What do you think???

  • I tried BPO 5000 but it doesn't work with my mls, I purchased Bpo Automation about 6 months ago and I have completed about 500 bpos with it.
    Negatives:
It leaves about 20-30% of the mls data unfilled.
Occasionally fills in the garage as a 10 car so you need to check everything over, no biggie
Does not fill in list date on some forms
I have had 2 script problems, the first one they fixed in 1 working day and responded right away, the second one I am just getting ready to email them about and have no reason to believe it will be handled any differently.
    POSITIVES;
They have all the forms my companies use
Their customer service has been great
It saves me about 20 minutes of typing per bpo
They keep trying to improve the product, I received an email this week stating they are trying to work on a way to fill more of the form and some of the redundent comments( it will cost more of course, but if it works I dont mind.)
In my opinion it rates a 4, I really like their product and would not want to do bpos without it.
  • I tried Realty Pilot as well and I also was disappointed. Prior to Realty Pilot, I've been using BPO5000, which is ok, but very inaccurate and zero customer service. I'm now trying silverliningbpos.com. It costs more, but it's an actual person that types, so the accuracy is GREAT!! There are several different price/service options. Has anyone else had experience with Silverlining BPOs?
  • I tried Realty Pilot earlier this year and was very disappointed. I'm looking into BPO Automation, but I will look into Trackmyforeclosure, and BPO Buddy as well. Do either of these programs have an Auto Acceptor?
    Thanks for sharing,
  • I have been using trackmyforeclosure.com and their grade is 4, best customer service, David is an honest man and he knows, it works great with some forms but leave a lot of blanks on others, I am currently using them for half of my bpos and BPO Buddy for the other half, they both track bpos well, have avility for photographer to upload pictures. in all honesty both programs do a good job, they are not perfect and since some companies keep changing their forms, etc. it might slow down the process and wait for their techs to re do the scripts, also it is good to customize some of the responses, etc, and they both charge extra for that. But I can see their constant efforts to improve their products.
  • I signed up for realty pilot. Was able to get my MLS to supply RETS awaiting final product, will keep you informed.
  • Jose, thanks so much for sharing!! I've been searching for someone else going through the same issues dealing with these bpo automation companies. You're feedback is invaluable. I've been using bpo 5000 for about 3 months now and I totally agree with you about their rating. Yeah it's fustrating, but it's better than nothing. I got tired of calling them about script issues, plus I don't have time to sit on the phone and work out software bugs, so now I just email them my issues and ask if they can send me a fix via email. They play around with it (for whatever company I need the fix), then send me an updated script. I'm not totally pleased with the service or the program, but when it does work, it's just okay. Like I said, better than nothing. However, I may change to Trackmyforeclosure if it turns out to work better. Please keep up posted.
  • For how long you been using Trackmyforeclosure? there a software to install on the PC or Laptop or is web base software?
    Thank you.
  • Good information Jose. I want to investigate Realty Pilot again and the one you mention trackmyforeclosure. I have insight that Realty Pilot has improved their system.
  • I use BPO Automation. I signed up with them almost a year ago. In the beginning it was terrible, I didn't even try it with most of my BPO's. Over the last year it was greatly improved. It cuts down on my BPO input by 50% and works great with most of my BPO company's. The customer service still needs quite a bit of work, but I wouldn't do my BPO's without it. If they continue to improve as they have been, I think they could be the industry leader.
  • Here is my rating for trackmyforeclosure (4) They were very fast for their set up, it was done within 24 hours, techsupport was very friendly and honest, they complete about 70% of the automation, but it seems that they are dedicated to continue improving. price is great at $39 a months.
