Do you use Skype?

Ok, so....I have been hearing from some friends...Skype THIS, Skype THAT and, honestly....I really didn't care but, I had to recently use Skype for a video conference call and BAM! I was astonished, it was the coolest, craziest, most incredible thing I have done in a long time. I was amazed at how I could, over my lap top, see my friend talking to me. Now, I don't have a camera set up on my lap top....yet but, I will soon because it was just to darn cool! Some of the great features of skype are.... 1. Video Conferencing, which was bombastic! 2. Instand Messaging while in a call. So, if your in a conference call and you need to have a private side bar conversation about what everyone is going to be doing for lunch, that is totally possible. 3. View conversation histories. I can take a look at txt conversation histories, from past conversations of course. 4. Call recording...for making sure people remember what they said. and so on....it's just amazing. I can see a lot of application potential here on REOPro and for my own business, so...I hope each of you have the time to check it out and, if you already use Skype, look me up, I would love to add your contact information into my address book. • I like Skype too but to be honest never thought about it from a business viewpoint till reading this blog post. Great topic Jesse!
  • Skype is a great way to keep in contact with a virtual assistant located out of state helping with your REO business. ;)
  • Yeah Jesse, connect to me on Skype. I think I'm Vegas REO Systems...or Vegasreo Systems...or Vegas REOsystems...or vegasreosystems...or Lowell... LOL!!!!!!
Thanks for joining the rest of us! :)
  • Love Skype...and your beautiful smiling face :)
  • Have used Skype for quite some time. It's very inexpensive to communicate with long distance or international clients.
  • Not to mention Skype rates to land lines are 99% cheaper than making a call through the hotel :)
  • I have used Skype for a while now to keep touch with long distance friends--there is something much more personal about having a cup of coffee on the phone with someone when you can see them at their kitchen table.

My clients love Skype because it is perfect professional IM. They can see when I am online, ask me questions about transactions and neither of us have to take the time to pick up the phone. It also lets my A.M.s know that I am IN THE OFFICE working my files. They can see me there up to my neck in reimbursements on a Saturday morning.
  • I have been Skyping for years. I absolutely love it. Great for making calls to places where you don't necessarily want people calling you back from caller I.D. I use it a lot with CFK's, especially if someone is disgruntled. Another cool thing... I was at Fivestart last week. Had some long distance calls to make and cell phone wasn't realiable in the building. Skype came through and kept me going and in touch with clean calls and no dropped lines. As far as I'm concerned, the best adjective for Skype is... SWEET!
