Companies with the best forms.

Just completing my first Landsafe forms. Form is ok, but it sure seems they could have their own mapping system, rather than expecting the agent to build one. My favorite form is Altisource. Quick and Easy.

  • Back when EML had their shorter forms I could bust out an i Form in as little as 20 minutes.  I agree with you on EML though, they aren't as efficient ever since they beefed up their validations section.  Although you have to upload the PDF's to Mainstreet, I find copy pasting mls comments and uploading the pdfs easier then writing out comments and inputting comp adjustments, which are not usually required.  I find iMortgage difficult because every other time you click on an input field a popup message appears, which messes up the flow of tabbing, but they do have a shorter form.  If you do enough of any company I'm sure they become "easy".  :)

  • I also like Corelogic, haven't done a Goodman Dean in a while haven't completed any of the others. Clear Capital isn't bad either. Some of the photo uploads are tricky too. So far though, I think Landsafe has been the worst. Their photo upload works well, but you have to create your own location map and then you need to create a signature or the form won't upload. Not sure if they are worth the time and effort or not.

  • John we agreed on Emortgage payment system but, easy forms? I strongly disagree. Easiest forms are Goodman Dean, Secure Lending Services, iMortgage, Core Logic BPO3S3L (only). Not only are these 4 easy but the information needed is to the point, while some forms may be appear easy, Main Street for example, they require a ton of additional information, you must upload each of the MLS sheets separately and copy and paste the MLS comments for each comp, then all the extra QC comments at the end of the report (like eMortgage) I got exhausted just thinking about it!!

  • In my opinion I would say some of the easiest forms are GoodmanDean, MDA, InspectionPort(minus the .env file concept), ClearCapital, Emortgage Logic, Equi-Trax, Ocwen, Mainstreet, ServiceLink, PowerLink, SLS.

With that said, nearly all forms have gotten longer over the years and they're starting to add pointless input fields to make their clients feel like they are getting more value.  ie.  Mainstreet just added stuff like marking the topography of subject and comps.  I just happen to carry around my surveyor equipment to measure the slope of the land on a driveby.  And for the comparables I can mark the percentage without even visiting the site.

*BTW I've seen mixed reports that SLS is going out of business with NREIS?!  Can anyone confirm this?
