Ok, not sure who mentioned ASREOS to me but, I was intrigued none the less and that prompted me to investigate them just a wee bit. Here is what I know. Founder Frank Patrick also founded REO Res Q, REO Renegades and American Society of REO Specialist. To join ASREOS it cost (per their website) ….(https://members.asreos.com/public/5.cfm) Property Preservation Monthly ($99.97) REO Broker/Agents Silver Monthly ($99.97) REO Broker/Agents Gold Coaching Monthly ($239.97) REO Broker/Agents Gold + Membership ($539.97) REO Broker/Agents Platinum Monthly ($997.97) By the way, i wasn't able to find any information on subscription levels and what they get you, go figure? From 100.00 to 1000.00 dollars a month…..ARE THEY SERIOUS? On their website, they answer the following question…… 1. Do you assign REO listings? No, but we help you get more REO listings of your own by providing access to our nationwide network of REO Sellers who are consistently acquiring new foreclosure properties - and Master Contractors who need to prepare those properties for market. Those contacts are invaluable when it comes to growing your ongoing REO business.ASREOS.com also provides crucial inside information as to how to make effective contact that counts with assets managers in charge of assigning REO listings. And, by becoming part of the ASREOS Online Directory of REO agents/brokers and property preservation contractors, your status will get a big boost in the REO industry overall. Pay special attention to that first line….NO Does anyone have any experience with these guys that they would like to elaborate on?

  • This is unbelievable, the prices are far too high in my opinion. In this market (Tampa Bay) REO is still very scarce.
  • Any thoughts on NAREOB
  • Just went back to look at the site it is no longer up.
  • I just listened to this guy . . .  There are so many of these folks out there.  Also heard on your blogradio today about bpo automation, etc.  Has anyone used this company, and does it really wrok?
  • Its sad to say I bought the REO Renegade program $97.00 and would say the material is lacking in substance and providing industry training. After reading post at REOPro fund an asset management company that was mentioned in a post and I went to apply online as a real estate agent partener and failed their questions to sign up. Don’t you think a pro that is selling a training package should inform you of industry education? I am going to walk down to B&N bookstore and look in the real estate section for some training on BPO and REO business.
If anyone can help out, thanks…
  • I had found the site ASREOS before finding this site at ning. I have found the post to be very informative and I often do a search for a company on the site when I am first contacted by a new company and more times than not it is listed with feedback on the site. I would say it is worth the fee per month at least to do a membership that is not coaching to try it out and see what you think. I look forward to looking thru this site on ning and getting to know some new people here too.
  • Hey - good reading! I've been contacted by Frank Patrck and considering buying into get a little knowledge- I've also received another invite to another webinar given by him and it boasts in part- "On the webinar, you will hear from a REO Expert who went from no REO's in the Fall of 2006 to closing over 800 in 2008, now selling over 100 REO properties every month - says you can do it too and will reveal how." I will be listening intently for the name and where practicing of the the person who makes this claim top confirm it. I look forward to helping my business grow in the way Mr. Chris Leonard has done and is doing.
  • Actually I got my start in the business with Frank Patrick and his Reo Renegades program. I paid $297 for the package and followed his program. Now after 4 months I.m receiving BPOs from 7 different companies.
Still waiting for my first REO but I understand it is along process.
So I,m doing about 15-20 BPOs a week for a small investment. I think I made a wise choice.
  • I have seen a good many of these so called 'REO' shops come along, and NONE making a promise of anything more than a lead. For this one, first of all what the hell is a 'Master Contractor'? Safeguard perhaps? Securing companies, in my book, have next to nothing to do with an REO assigment. Second REO managers all have their list of folks who they are currently using. This is the best time for someone to try to break in, but it is still tough. These places like ASREOS apper to be well adapt at sucking money from less knowledgeable agents. Beside I suspect that the REO managers are a long list of folks waiting to get work. Doing a simple search of the web, talking to other REO agents, is a much more successful way to get a lead. I just got a note last night from an agent who offered to help me get in with a company she does a lot of work for. Word of mouth is worth it's weight in gold.
  • maybe these Frank and Ted are partners ;)
