  • Seb, thank you for the appreciation.
  • Seb - I completed the online application; do you have a name and number or an email of a representative with Keystone Asset Management, I would like to actually have someone look at my resume.... thank you for your time and any assistance.
  • Hi Seb. My name is Miriam and I am an agent from Riverside area (SoCal). I am interested in attending the seminar on Nov. 13-14. Is there a fee and where is the venue? Thanks.
  • My best vendors are a couple of "property service companies" - basically they are general contractors who, rather than building houses or doing remodels (although they do do some of that), make it their primary business to work for property management companies (and, now, REO Realtors) to "turn over" houses after one occupant leaves and another moves in. They are great, because they handle everything from trash out to landscaping to painting, carpeting, plumbing, electrical - basically one call does it all. As for how they get paid, unless it's a big job, I pay them out of my pocket - but if it runs to over $1,500 or so then I usually try to get the asset management company to pay them directly.
  • Hey There Seb! I'm not only new to this network, I'm to REO's (just got my first two assignments!). I feel a bit like a parasite cause I'm on here feeding on everyone's info but don't have anything to offer myself (since I'm so new). But anyway... I'd like to ask you what/who are the best vendors to have on your team and how do you pay them (up front or when you get reimbursed from AM)? Any info is appreciated.

    Thanks In Advance!

  • Hello,

Like you, I am new here and hopefully like me, you see the potential that this social network has to offer and the great advantages we have by being in on the ground floor.

Of course, the only way there will be a benefit is if we collectively get active and stay active in the group.

I am going through right now and asking everyone here from California, to join my friend list - I hope you'll do the same.

Also, if you have REO experience, then please write a short blog on a topic of interest to you, that you feel someone else will benefit from. This will not only provide you with good "Google Juice" it will help all of us here.. I just posted my first blog here about BPO's. I have another blog at HemetRealEstateBlog.com where I have nearly 400 articles published on all different real estate topics (and some personal one too - after all we are in the people business).

Hope to see you around the REOPRO site,

  • Hi Seb Frey:

This site is dedicated to the Realtors who work with Lenders, Banks and Asset Managers in assisting them with the liquidation of their real estate portfolio holdings.

We are a Network of Professionals spread across the country and have come together online to network and provide support through our accumulated knowledge and experience. This support could be anything from providing information on ways to obtain industry recognized designations, to the contact information of the Asset Managers who can make or break us. The power of our network will be determined by those who participate openly and freely.

I really would like this to be a place where we as Listing Agents can share information without constraint with one another in the pursuit to help each other in the advancement of our shared profession.

Feel free to customize your “my page”, start your blog, add events, post photos and share videos. I believe with your help, this network can have a positive impact on the lives and professional development of all who are members.

If you have any other suggestion, feel free to send them my way, I will truly consider them, the door is always open and welcome to REOPRO.
