Jesse, Here we go again. I will be honest. Not sure i want to do REO this time around. Stephen
Hey Stephen, as a matter of full disclosure, I'm not sure anyone really wants to do REO. I mean, it's not a niche for the faint of heart. Most of us did it because is was the only real estate activity in our market back during the Great Recession. For me, I ended up growing to love it. So, in a strange morbid sort of way, I'm looking forward to a REO "come back" if you will. I know that sounds horrible because, for REO to thrive, others have to suffer but in some way, is this not a larger metaphor for life? Make no mistake, I understand and can relate to not being sure about doing REO, I've had those concerns myself but, at the end of the day, I feel like I know REO better than I do Retail.
