I was just scammed by Team Lear. I paid them $449 for the right to list a property that was foreclosed and in redemption. I just drove by the property and another Realtor's sign was in the yard. I ask he if it was via Team Lear. She sad no it was bank direct. She had been scammed by Team Lear in the past. Look them up on -line and read the scam complaints WATCH OUT

Yes SCAM! This company is headed up by Eli Green of REOPRO CORP. You can see blogs here regarding that scam. They scammed me about 2 years ago. It took following up for a year with my CC company. After sending the emails where Mr. Green said he would refund my money after a year if I didn't receive any listings (which of course I never rec'd anything from them) my CC company went after him. I got my money back. Total Scam...Then shortly there after the rep called me with the same sales script (HA!) and when I asked her if he was spearheading the deal she said "Yes"....I told her to run hard and fast. NO THANKS!
Been there, done that, unfortunately. And now I am fighting with my bank to get my money back.
thanks to this site I was able to avoid this SCAM. they called me but I declined and they haven't called me back. They did get a coworker. I warned them but some people don't listen when they think there is a possibility to make money.
I hope you were able to get your money back. If you report it as a scam to your credit card company they should be able to assist you. Also remember never make these type of transactions with a debit card.
Sorry that you didn't read the discussions here or you would have been saved. The Team Lear scam is very old news.
Thanks for sharing. So many scammers out there.
If it wasn't for I have experience with REO and know how the listing works I might had paid the $449 too.
She sent me an email with her information, spatterson@teamlear.com
That happened to me last year. I had my credit card company charge it back and I have never heard from "Team Lear" again.
The called me and I was at the computer and looked up the addresses. I said that the properties they were talking about were not in foreclosure yet. I also told them that I saw on the BBB that they had a bad rating. They got upset with me, because they couldn't scam me.
We have to be careful and this is the best source I know to let other know. There are so many scammers out there it is hard to keep up with them. I am sorry they got you. :(
Word of caution never pay for leads or listings. Most listing providers will send you a referral agreement then have you list the property. I have had companies calling saying we have clients interested in El Paso and your name came on our system with a zip code in El Paso and it will only cost $399.00 for the first ten leads
