RES.NET Question

I signed up with RESNET last year in November and I just recently got my first BPO. What is the probability of me getting this listing? I am in South Florida and the property is located off the Florida Keys in a community that has their own MLS aside from the Florida Keys MLS and Miami MLS. Completing this task has not been an easy one.

Thanks in Advance

Barbara

  • I have been told by almost every company that if you do the BPO you will not get the listing. RESNET was a big fat zero for me. The first time they suckered me in I had not done the profile correctly but no one noticed and didn't get a thing. The second time business must have been slow because they gave me a big discount to sign up again, I got maybe 2 or 3 BPO's. Not worth the money.

  • Is it a paid BPO?  If so, no chance of a listing.  If it's free, it depends on who the client is.  If it's USRES, no chance. In most cases of a  potential listing, you are usually informed shead of the BPO.

    • No, I am not getting paid for the BPO. When I logged in to start it, I beleive client was the bank (chase).
  • I signed up have a free membership with them may be 5 years ago. Did one BPO for free.

The second freebie was on my screen quickly taken by a volunteer. If you are in Florida and did BPO the probability getting a listing because your name is on it is > zero. If you are a paid premium member you throw $600+/ year for a slim chance of getting contacted for another listing. Possibly during the next recession.
