REO Scams are starting back up. BE AWARE!!!

Just got a call this morning from (786) 567-3151.   Typical P T Barnum song and dance, we have this property we want you to do a BPO on for us with our proprietary website.  No skin in the game on their part.  DO IT FOR FREE!!!  Not a big problem to this point.  Here is the whammy, to be part of our special group you need to pay $649 up front.  NOW!!!  Don't do it.  If it is a worthwhile group you don't pay anything but, do the management of the property once in the asset management companies possession and give you or I the listing.

    I just got the same call; the guy was adamant about getting my credit card number for the $649 preservation retainer fee.
    The company he said he was from is REO CONNECTS.

      I too received this call and now the website and any contact information is no longer available. This scam was very sophisticated with the portal, website and follow up from the scammer. If you have to pay upfront to get a listing it is probably not an official asset manager reaching out to you.
