Back In REO After 10 Years Out!

Hi Everyone, What a Great Group. I've enjoyed this forum.   I was a Full-time REO broker for 18 years.  I left the business 10 years ago, and went into the ministry.  I am ready to get back into the REO business Full Force again.  But so much has changed. What I need to know is the playforms I need to be part of again.. When I left, it was Equator, Res.net and a few others.  However, I just don't know where to start, and I Can't Every remember to many Asset managers names.  I'm working with a couple of companies now like SNSC and Statebridge, but before I left, I had contracts with Bank of America, GMAC, Olympus Asset Managment, Asset One, SOS, and so many more.  If you can help me know where to start, or any info you can give, I would be very greatful to you.  I service the Alabama Gulf Coast Area.

  • You might want to stay with the ministry. I started in this business over 30 years ago and they were much better times. Too many options for people to sell their property easily (dependent on where you live). I cut my teeth in Cleveland, Ohio, now in Charlotte NC its a completely different outlook....
  • me too! I am in Florida, and I’ve definitely noticed an uptick in foreclosures. I just made a post asking about equator, it’s a bit different than it was when I was doing short sales 😁
    • I'm in Brevard/Indian River Counties and have only gotten 1 REO in the last 4 plus years and on all the platforms and go to Five Star every year & and I am a very seasoned REO agent. They all say they are coming.
